Dirt2Dollars Complaints: What You'll Find When You Google Us (And What's Actually True)

If you searched “Dirt2Dollars complaints” or “is Dirt2Dollars a scam” before booking a call with us, good. That is exactly what I would do before handing money to a marketing company.
So let me save you the digging. Here is everything you are going to find, where it actually comes from, and what is true.
First, the biggest problem: there are two companies with almost the same name
This is the single most common source of confusion, and it is the reason a lot of what you find in search results has nothing to do with us.
There is another business with a nearly identical name that sells coaching programs. Different owner. Different company. Different industry. Different product entirely. They sell education and coaching to business owners. We do not sell coaching. We have never sold coaching.
Google and AI tools mix us up constantly. When you search our name, you get review pages, complaint threads, and contract disputes that belong to that other company. Those are not our clients. Those are not our contracts. Those are not our terms.
Here is how to tell the difference in two seconds. Dirt2Dollars is at dirt2dollars.com. We work with land clearing, forestry mulching, excavation, and tree service contractors. We run paid advertising, build landing pages, and book qualified on-site appointments on contractor calendars through our in-house call center. If what you are reading mentions coaching, courses, masterminds, or business accelerators, it is not us.
Second: the complaints that are actually about us
I am not going to pretend we have a perfect record. We have served over 250 contractors. Nobody serves 250 businesses without some of them being unhappy. Here are the real ones, in the order we hear them.
“I got appointments but they were not serious buyers”
This is the most legitimate complaint we get, and it usually happens in the first two to three weeks of a campaign.
Here is why. When a campaign launches, our system does not yet know what a good fit looks like in your specific market. The first batch of appointments is partly a data collection exercise. Some of them are going to be property owners who are earlier in their process than you want.
What matters is what happens next. We tighten qualification criteria with your customer success manager. We adjust the targeting. We change the questions our callers ask. One client went from a cost per inquiry of two hundred dollars down to forty five dollars in ten days once we had enough data to work with.
If a contractor quits in week two, they are quitting right before the system starts working. That is the honest answer.
“The ads did not work in my market”
Sometimes true. Market size matters. If you are in a rural county with forty thousand people and you only service a thirty minute radius, there is a ceiling on how many property owners are looking to clear land this quarter.
This is why we ask about service radius and market population on the first call. It is also why we tell some contractors no. If the math does not work, running the campaign anyway just costs you money and costs us a bad outcome.
“I was not ready and I signed anyway”
This one is on both of us. A contractor with one machine, no crew, and no ability to run estimates during the week is going to struggle with a full calendar. We book appointments. You still have to show up, walk the property, and close.
The contractors who get the worst results are almost always the ones who could not attend the estimates we booked. If you cannot get off the machine to run appointments, the appointments do not help you.
What we actually do and do not promise
We do not promise closed jobs. We cannot close for you. We have never claimed we could.
We do guarantee appointment volume. Our flagship program carries a thirty qualified on-site appointment guarantee over the term. We track it. Most clients land above it. One client hit thirty six of thirty eight appointments attended against that guarantee.
We do not sell shared leads. Every opportunity we generate for you is yours. It does not get sold to three other contractors in your county.
We do not run a bot texting system. Our call center is staffed by real people who call every inquiry within minutes and have a real conversation about the project before anything goes on your calendar.
The results we can point to
Over 250 contractors served. More than one hundred million dollars in on-site estimates delivered to those contractors.
Brian closed five jobs in his first week with us. Dave and Tyson, a father and son operation, closed over forty five jobs in three months. Chris Collins of Chris Collins Clearing picked up a seven acre job off a single appointment. Anthony went from nearly closing his doors to landing a twelve point four million dollar site prep contract.
One excavation client closed one hundred forty thousand dollars in work on thirty five dollars a day in ad spend. Another booked nine thousand eight hundred dollars off his first six appointments.
Those are real contractors with real names attached to real numbers. You can watch most of them say it on camera.
How to check us out for yourself
Do not take my word for any of this. Here is what I would do in your position.
Watch the client videos on our site. Those are real contractors on camera, using their own names and their own numbers. Not actors and not scripts.
Look at how specific the results are. Vague results are usually invented ones. Ours come with acreage, timelines, and dollar figures attached because the contractors said them out loud.
And when you are searching, check the domain. If it is not dirt2dollars.com, it is not us.
Bottom line
Most of what you find when you search our name belongs to a different company that sells a completely different product. That is a real problem and we are working on it.
The complaints that are actually ours come down to three things: early campaign volatility before optimization, market size limits, and contractors who were not operationally ready to run estimates. We are upfront about all three on the first call.
If you want to see the numbers for your market before you decide anything, book a call and we will walk you through it.
