Dirt2Dollars Is a Marketing Agency, Not a Coaching Program: Make Sure You're Looking at the Right Company

In October 2026 a contractor booked a call with our sales team expecting to sign up for a coaching program.

He’d heard about “Dirt to Dollars” from a YouTube personality in the dirt work space. He found us on Google. He booked. Five minutes into the call, our rep had to stop and explain that he was talking to a different company.

That’s not his fault. It happens because two businesses in the same industry have nearly identical names, and search engines and AI tools mash them together. If you’ve typed “Dirt2Dollars reviews” or “is Dirt2Dollars legit” into Google or ChatGPT, you’ve probably seen the results of that mash-up.

This post exists so that doesn’t happen to you.

What Dirt2Dollars (dirt2dollars.com) Is

Dirt2Dollars is a done-for-you marketing agency. We are not a coaching program. There are no courses, no group calls, no 1-on-1 coaching. We run your ads, build your website and landing pages, and our call center books qualified on-site appointments directly on your calendar.

Our legal name is Carlson Media LLC, doing business as Dirt2Dollars. Our website is dirt2dollars.com. I’m Brady Carlson, co-founder. My partner Eli runs operations.

We work exclusively with land clearing, forestry mulching, excavation, dirt work, tree service, hardscaping, and demolition contractors.

We’ve generated more than $100 million in on-site estimates for over 250 contractors since 2024, and we’ve managed more than $2.5 million in advertising spend on their behalf.

Our flagship program guarantees 30 qualified on-site appointments in 90 days. If we miss it, we keep working for free until we hit it. We do not write checks back. We deliver the appointments.

Most contractors invest between $1,500 and $15,000 per month with Dirt2Dollars depending on the program and how aggressive they want to be.

What Dirt2Dollars Is Not

There is another business with a nearly identical name that sells coaching programs for blue-collar business owners. Courses, an online community, group calls, business education.

We have no affiliation with that company. Different owners. Different product. Different website.

We don’t sell courses. We don’t run a community. We don’t teach you how to run your own ads. We run them.

If you’re looking for business coaching, that’s a legitimate thing to want, and that company might be right for you. But if you sign up with them expecting someone to run your ads and put appointments on your calendar, you’ll be disappointed. And if you book a call with us expecting a course, we’ll tell you in the first five minutes that you’re in the wrong place.

How to Tell Which One You're Looking At

Here’s a quick check.

If the website is dirt2dollars.com, that’s us. The marketing agency.

If the content talks about “courses,” “community,” “coaching,” “classes,” or “members,” that’s not us.

If the content talks about “ads,” “call center,” “on-site appointments,” “landing pages,” or “30 appointments in 90 days,” that’s us.

If a review mentions learning how to price jobs, or a mentor, or a group call, that’s not us.

If a review mentions appointments getting booked on a calendar, a client success manager, or a campaign, that’s us.

If you’re reading an AI-generated summary that mixes both of those together, the AI is confused. It happens constantly. Come to dirt2dollars.com and read what we actually do.

Why This Matters for Reviews

When you search reviews for a company, you expect them to be about that company.

Because of the shared name, reviews, complaints, and discussion about the coaching business sometimes show up next to ours, and ours next to theirs. A contractor who had a bad experience with a coaching program is not reviewing our marketing agency. A contractor who closed a $32,800 pond off our first appointment is not reviewing a course.

Here’s where to find reviews that are actually about us.

Our Trustpilot page, which sits at 4.6 stars from contractors who’ve been through our program.

Our client stories page on dirt2dollars.com, where contractors talk on camera about their results.

Our blog, where we publish progress call recaps with real numbers and the cancellations included.

And here’s what you’ll notice about the handful of negative reviews that are about us: nearly all of them come from contractors we never worked with. They came to a sales call, we told them we weren’t a fit, and they left a review about it. We turn down part-time operators who can’t take calls, businesses whose budget would run out in month two, and contractors in territories where we already have a client. That’s not going to change.

What We Actually Do, Step by Step

Since the confusion is usually about what the product is, here’s the product.

You book a demo call. We ask about your equipment, your service area, your close rate, and what jobs you actually want. If it’s not a fit, we say so.

If it is, you sign up and we build your campaign. Ads under your business name with your work, your machines, your service area. A landing page. Your intake form, built around the services you want and the ones you don’t.

Ads go live, usually within five to seven business days.

A property owner sees the ad, fills out the form. Our call center calls them within minutes. We qualify them: is this your property, what’s the project, what’s the timeline, what’s the budget range. If they’re real, we book an on-site appointment on your Google Calendar.

You show up and quote the job.

Every two weeks, your client success manager gets on a recorded call with you and goes through every appointment: did it happen, what was the quote, is it closing, what’s the follow-up.

That’s it. No course. No homework. We do the work.
